Erik Pavletic is a UI developer, .gif connoisseur, and book worm from rainy Gothenburg, Sweden.
He tends to favor simple things done really well, like hardcore punk, or pizza Margherita.
He believes that both Mies van der Rohe’s less is more
and Rams’
less, but better
applies equally to both
design and code, and that everything worth doing, is worth doing well. At the end of the day,
he thinks programming is about communication, and thus strive to pick clear over
clever whenever he’s in a position to choose.
He’s currently working as a frontend UI engineer at Etraveli Group, where he gets to apply his interests in design systems thinking and composable software in a React context.
Erik likes freshly ground coffee, animated gifs, and long hikes in the woods. His random ramblings can (nowadays) be found on Mastodon , and he occasionally shares bits and snippets on Github. When he doesn’t write code, read books, or talk about himself in the third person, he enjoys taking walks with the dog, watching Formula 1, playing video games, and hanging out with his family.
